U.S. Army Spc. Christopher D. Horton, of Collinsville, Oklahoma, died Sept. 9, 2011, in Zurmat District, Afghanistan, of wounds sustained when enemy forces attacked his unit with small-arms fire. The 26-year-old was assigned to 1st Battalion, 279 Infantry Regiment, 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Oklahoma National Guard. Horton is survived by his wife, Jane; parents David and Cherie; brother, Nicholas; sister, Tenley; and many other friends and family.

Attention:  Your Challenge Winners are as follows:  1st place – Nicole – $140; 2nd Place – Brett – $100; 3rd Place – KP – $80; 4th Place – Spencer – $55; and 5th Place – Michela – $50! Choosing the Winners was extremely close as everyone did an amazing job and it was very tough! Please thank your coaches as they volunteered their time, including the meeting where they sat and chose the winners! As a group of 17 (whose numbers I got), we lost 154.8 pounds or 9.10 pounds on average per person and 157.25 inches, or 13.10 inches on average per person! See the pics below to see your winners and we will be posting more on FB! We are so proud of you for focusing for 30 days and please say congrats to anyone who did it! We hope this has instilled or taught you some good or new habits and you will carry forward with the eating as that is the most important thing!
