Get outside of the Box. 
I feel like a lot of people who start CrossFit end up getting consumed by it – which isn’t necessarily a bad thing at all. Still, I think a lot of people lose the reason of why they started CrossFit in the first place, whether it was to improve their level of fitness, be better at sports, or to just get out and do something active. Often I see members get so wrapped up in getting a muscle-up or putting that rx on the board, that they lose sight of how great it feels to do the things they were doing before CrossFit – like swimming, biking, or playing football and baseball. 
The idea behind CrossFit is to live a healthier, fuller, and more fully functioning life, and we should take advantage of doing all of those pull-ups and burpees. So I ask that you remember to go out and have some fun, whether it is hiking, running around the playground with your kids, going to the pool, or shooting hoops, instead of getting consumed by the need to be better in the box. 
Now, don’t get me wrong, needing to get better in the box and being driven to perform better every day is a great thing but just don’t let it stop you from going out with friends, eating your grandma’s homemade pie that she makes only once a year, or doing active things. Because the whole reason every one started CrossFit in the first place was to be able to do all of those things more easily and to be healthier so they could fully enjoy their lives – so get out of the box and have some fun!
