Mike’s birthday wod!

To soon for 14.4?!?!  Well, like the ex-girlfriend or boyfriend you didn’t want to see for a bit – Mike has brought it back for all of us to test our fitness! Thanks Mike.  The Wod is normally run as a 14 minute AMRAP, but Mike wanted to run it as a “For time” to make it extra special:)

Also – tomorrow is the final full day of the Challenge!  Even if you are not going to win don’t hurt your team in the final week by not turning in a log.  Logs are due by 12 noon on Saturday (and yes, it is the full day on Friday that counts!) We are so excited to see some of the amazing results from the past several weeks! Also, if you really want to hang in – try to eat healthy Saturday morning and come in to do Saturday’s Wod, and then be a part of the group photo session!

Exit Strategy:  If you followed the Paleo eating to a tee then you have an excellent opportunity to see if/how your body responds as you slowly add food groups back in.  We do not recommend that you go out on Saturday night and stuff yourself full of non-paleo food – not only will you get sick but you will be on the fast track to undo all of the good gains you just worked so hard to achieve over the last 35 days.  We do encourage you to continue with this way of eating as a lifestyle change but for those of you who are interested in putting some food groups back in, we suggest the following:  1.  Starting on Saturday or Sunday, introduce dairy for 1 week, see how you feel; 2.  The following  weekend, introduce carbs for 1 week, see how you feel; 3.  The following weekend, introduce soy, corn, or legumes, see how you feel, etc… If certain items cause results you don’t like, reduce/eliminate as needed.  Continue to log and or document how you feel.
